This year’s Historical Materialism Sydney will be held on 13 and 14 December. The venue will be the same as 2016, i.e. the Abercrombie Building, Business School, the University of Sydney. The contrast of the presented papers to the look and feel of the building alone makes attending the conference quite lucrative.
This year, I’ll be presenting part of my research on Australian retail workers and labour internationalism. It’s titled The Domestic and Global Powers of Australia’s Retail Workers. The abstract of this presentation is available on the sister website, Transnational Australia.
There are lots of great papers presented at this conference that I look forward to. Here is the conference’s program.
