For the past five years, I have been using Think with a Hammer as the home to my short writings. During this time, I never really focused exclusively on one topic, which was reflected in the diversity of the posts. Think with a Hammer now has a diverse range of materials, from cinema to political economy, from Jarmusch to Marx.
Since late 2017, I have been working on a new research project, Transnational Australia. It studies the labour movement and the effects of the transnationalisation of the processes of production, with a focus on Australia. Now, most of my recent readings and writings are on this topic and so have been most of my new posts. They have become such a tightly connected and thematically sequential collection, with a sharp and somehow disturbing contrast to other materials. Now, I feel uncomfortable to disrupt the flow by posting on topics other than transnationalisation of the labour movement.
So I decided to devote a separate, exclusive space to the new collection, moving the posts to a new blog, Transnational Australia. From now on, I will post new content on labour transnationalisation on that blog and if necessary, link to it here.
As with Think with a Hammer, I would be honoured if you visited Transnational Australia and let me know your thoughts and comments.
